Kaikea Modern 1Ba Lanikai Cottage: Stylish & Private - 5 Min from Lanikai Beach

Cottage was terrific!

It was ideal for just the two of us....not too small at all and it all seemed very well finished and up to date. Bed was comfy and shower was nice and large. It did not have a full kitchen, but I was on vacation and didn't want to cook anyway. :) Full size washer & dryer were available on garage level as well as a second full size refrigerator/freezer. Couch was comfy and it had a BIG screen TV. Nice to have large windows with electric blinds -- could see the whole neighborhood. Maybe best of all: it was near the beach! Only a 2 block walk down a quiet street to a very nice sandy beach. And there were kayaks and a paddle board in the garage we could use! We were told to not use the garage for car parking even though the listing appeared to offer this as a benefit, but it worked out just fine to park in front of the garage. Two bikes were also available, but no helmets or rear-view mirrors, so I didn't feel safe on the narrow streets with no convenient bike paths. Overall, a great place to stay on Oahu.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay. I spent 2 months at this unit and it immediately felt like home. The unit is just at it looks - 2 blocks from the beach, 5 minute drive to grocery, quiet neighborhood, good wifi, good A/C, nice and clean and a garage full of toys for the beach. Even a private parking spot in the driveway. Highly recommend if you're visiting Oahu and don't want to be touristy Honolulu.

It was not clean. The bed was not made with clean sheets towels were stained and dirty.

This apartment cannot be beat. You are tucked away in the most beautiful neighborhood on Oahu while also staying accessible to restaurants, hikes, stores, and other areas of the island. I stay on Oahu frequently and this is hands down the best accommodations I've ever had. I will always check to see if this property is available any time I need to come back. The property manager is attentive and helpful, and every amenity you need for a long stay is provided. Towels, sheets, beach supplies, private washer/dryer, fully stocked bathroom, an abundance of kitchen appliances are not to be taken for granted with other long-term rentals, but you can expect to have this all here!
